This work is about different species of Spiders. Those species of spiders were photographed in Corfu (GREECE), during the years 2008 and 2009. All the photographed arthropods belong to the order of Araneae.
The classification of spiders is particularly difficult and requires expertise, experience and appropriate equipment.Under the photos the scientific name of the spiders is indicated. Where the name of the species has not been confirmed there is nothing written. If there are doubts about the name, this is indicated.
This photographic survey was realised with the help of the SOCIETY FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT OF CORFU by Ghinis Stamatis, biologist and Spyros Gkinis, professor of lyceum, as an effort for the registration and the protection of the natural heritage of Corfu.
