When you come to Fundana Villas for the first time you feel like you are going to some fairy-tale castle. The little road leading to the hotel is surrounde by thick bushes until you take the final turn into the estate. And what you see confirms this feeling!
Fundana used to be the mansion of the Yiallinas family and consists of several buildings. All those buildings have been tastefully transformed into hotel rooms and suites by one of the Yiallinas descendants, Spyros Spathas. Mr Spyros is a very caring host. With his decades-long experience as a tourist guide and his enthousiasm he will present you with lots of information about the mansion, the area, the island of Corfu and lots of other issues. Don't miss the weekly garden tour through the luscious and very well-kept Fundana gardens!
The nature around the hotel is extremely rich and there are many footpaths you can take for relaxing walks among olive trees and cypresses, orchids and cyclamens. And just a couple of kilometers further lie the beaches of Paleokastritsa and Liapades for great swimming!
The lobby-breakfast room is also very impressive. It used to house the olive press of the mansion and most of the equipment is still present there to admire.
