Lefkes Apartments are situated just 30 meters from the beach of Acharavi on the north coast of Corfu. There is a big garden with trees and palm trees and a lawn with sunbeds where you can relax and enjoy the sunshine. The area is very quiet and the sea is just a stone's throw away! The ecotourism program lasts seven days and combines culture, natural beauty and delicious food. If you decide to participate in the program you will be taken to a different place of the island every day. The places you will visit are important monuments such as Angelokastro, a byzantine castle on a high rock overlooking the Ionian sea and traditional old villages such as Old Perithia and Old Sinies. Here you can see a photo of the beautiful, almost deserted village of Old Perithia. Beside the cultural value, those places also offer spectacular views and walks in the beautiful countryside of Corfu. Coming back to the apartments, you can participate in the cooking of a traditional Corfiot meal which you will eat the next day!
Acharavi beach is one of the largest beaches of Corfu and stretches for more than 7 kilometers! It's mostly golden sand and small pebbles and the water is quite shallow, so it's safe for little children. There are many restaurants, cafes and bars along the beach where you can enjoy a coffe or a drink watching the sun set over the Ionian sea. The village of Acharavi is one of the biggest in northern Corfu and offers everything you might need, from supermarkets, banks and a large bakery to bars, night clubs and many souvenir shops offering original souvenirs. If you are in Acharavi, don't miss the chance to visit Mundo Maya, a shop with a wide variety of ethnic clothing and artifacts from India, Nepal and Guatemala!
The apartments themselves have been renovated recently and offer everything you would wish for a comfortable holiday. They are spatious and get a lot of light, there is a kitchen and private bathroom in each apartment and of course you can always use the garden. There are studios for 2 persons whic are ideal for couples and maisonettes where 4 people can be accommodated. Prices are very reasonable, starting at 35 euros for a studio in low season and up to 60 euros for a maisonette in the high season.
